Depending on the area treated, age of the client and skin condition a tattoo will last anywhere from 6 months to 5 years. The colour will fade over time depending on the lifestyle choices, skin tones and the pigment used. The client may need a touch-up procedure every 1-3 years to keep the colour vibrant.
The cosmetic tattoo will generally last up to 3-5 years. The colour will slightly fade over time depending on the individual’s lifestyle choices, skin tones and the pigment used. The client may need a touch-up procedure every 3-5 years to keep the colour vibrant.
The sensation will vary according to each individual. Most people experience very little or no pain whatsoever. Topical anesthetic is applied for all procedures and liquid anesthetic is run through the tattooing device during the procedure. Panadol can be taken 45 min prior to the procedure to minimize sensitivity. Some clients are so relaxed, they even fall asleep during the procedure. Note: If you have your menstruation cycle, sick, extremely run down or hangover, there may be slight discomfort with the procedure.
Every procedure has a different healing time with little or no swelling to the time it takes for the pigment to settle into the skin. This all varies depending on the procedure and the area. There is no downtime, you can resume normal activities straight after your procedure. Keep in mind that you will need to follow the aftercare with certain specifications in order to properly maintain your new tattoo.
The first 3-7 days your tattoo will be slightly darker in appearance than what the final outcome will be.
We recommend getting your spray tan done two days prior to a particular event so the bronzers are settled and full development has been reached.
Before your appointment, you can exfoliate to remove dead skin and promote a longer-lasting tan. You can also remove hair at least 24 hours before your appointment. Avoid wearing any products like deodorant, moisturizer, perfume, or makeup, as they can create a barrier and make your tan patchy.
Wear something comfortable during your spray tan, like dark underwear or a disposable g-string. You can also go completely naked to avoid tan lines. After your appointment, wear loose clothing like a baggy t-shirt or a loose dress. Avoid tight clothing like bras, leggings, jeans and tight singlets. If you get stuck, we have tanning dresses avaiable for purchase.
A lash lift works with your natural lashes to create a luscious semi-permanent curl that will last between 6-8 weeks. We use a technique combining a lifting lotion and silicone rods to lift your natural lashes, making them look longer and fuller. We recommend lash lifts as a great alternative to eyelash extensions.
It’s best to avoid any type of moisture to your lashes for at least 24 hours following your lash treatment. It’s best to avoid any type of moisture to your lashes for at least 24 hours following your lash treatment. This is because in the immediate hours after the lift, the lashes are returning to a normal PH level. Water, mascara, etc. can weigh down the lashes and compromise the lift that was set via the chemical change from your treatment. Think of it as being similar to getting your hair done at the salon. You wouldn’t want your hair to get rained on after leaving the salon as it would cause the hair to go flat - water would have similar effects to your newly lifted eyelashes.
A lash lift will last about 4-6 weeks (sometimes longer) depending on aftercare. Following the aftercare instructions given above for the first 24 hours after your treatment will help with longevity. In addition, we recommend brushing your lashes in an upright position anytime following a shower (or after getting your lashes wet) to help keep the shape of them.
Eyebrow lamination is the latest beauty secret that will thicken and enhance your natural brows. Similar to the idea of a lash lift, brow lamination involves the application of a setting lotion that gives the brow hair a semi-permanent “brushed up” and lifted look. Whether you have thin, thick, or over plucked eyebrows, brow laminating is the perfect solution to give you the everyday look you want, without effort.
Prior to your brow lamination appointment, we recommend that you avoid the use of exfoliants, retinoids, or AHAs on your face for 1-2 weeks before your brow lamination. Avoid tweezing at least two weeks prior to your appointment; we do shape and wax your brows during the brow lamination treatment. Please come to your appointment without any makeup on your face/brows.
A brow lamination will last about 6 weeks (again, depending on aftercare). Be sure to follow the “Don’ts” mentioned above in the first 24 hours following your treatment for longevity. In the 48 hours following your treatment, you can apply a hydrating balm or a castor oil to your brows daily. We also recommend brushing your brows in an upright/styled position anytime following a shower (or after getting your brows wet) to help keep their new shape.
